Car kinda feels like it’s in limp mode. It’s Holding first and second for a long time and acceleration is slow and not smooth. no engine codes. just changed the trans fluid and filter still no change. noticed this wire on the driver side is cut not sure what it is tho.

The connector pictured lets you fully disable traction control and abs. Useful for when you are racing or want to dyno the car. People often call it the "dyno plug"

I think its just a connector that doesn't go anywhere and just passes voltage back down the wire so if you unplug it then it is disconnected. I don't think the other end goes anywhere. Do you have a bunch of traction control and abs lights? If not then don't worry about it.

Do yourself a big favor and either put the factory air intake back on or buy a different cold air intake. That thing is doing nothing but sucking in hot engine bay air and severely decreasing your performance and efficiency.

I would get a closed box intake or an 18+ intake. If the car is basically stock and you don't want to pay for a tune just put the stock intake back on.

As far as the transmission can you give us some more info. How many miles? What mods done to the car? Tuned? Also did you buy the car in its current state or have you done modifications to it yourself? Looks like you are missing the engine cross support / cowl extension (see photo below).

Did you fix your intake fittings and are sure there are no leaks?

I cleared the trans adaptive settings and drove it around which seems to have helped. it came with a aftermarket exhaust and I have no idea if it’s tuned. It did have the cross bar which I removed. It was after market and didn’t fit. I think only the performance package came with the bar. I’ll try to find a stock intake to put on.

I think the stock intake will help. The K&N intake is pretty shit and could easily have an air leak, especially with the issues you had with the connectors. It could also be throwing off fuel trims which won't throw a code but could hurt the drivability of the car.

The photo I attached is of a stock bar that every mustang should have (at least as far as I know). Check to see if you have it. I think it provides some chassis rigidity. It goes under the cowl panel grill (see cowl panel photo below).

Yes i replaced the one on the left. The other two were fine. I also don’t feel any air coming from any of them. The Pcv valve hose was missing when I got the car. I’m guessing it had a catch can and the repair shop took it.

I am talking about the big metal piece I sent in the first photo that goes under that plastic piece. Every mustang has it.

And I don’t know, I don’t think so.

bought a oem airbox. is this Pcv hose suppose to go here? previous owner capped off sound tube which I think goes there but they had this hose going to the airbox and I don’t see anywhere else the Pcv hose can go.
