I have picked up a set of 305/30r19 RE-71RS for the upcoming season and am looking for opinions on my wear - improvement opportunities etc.

The sport cup 2’s in the photo are from the front have 5 Autocross events (50 ~60 second laps), and a track day (4x25 min sessions) combined with about 1500 street miles.

I am trying to asses if I have adequate camber, etc before installing the new tires.

The rear tires look much better!! I am happy with how they are wearing. (-2.2 camber, 0.03 total positive toe)

This season on the front I utilized
-3.3 camber
7.0deg caster
0.0deg toe.
Targeting 32psi hot (frequently adjusting after each run).

Is this wear acceptable? I was toying with even more negative camber.

I would suggest more toe in. The RE-71's will wear fast with that setup.

I spent half of last season on the stones. Awesome tires. But for wanting to try the CRS in 325, I would have ordered another set. I wish they would make more track friendly sizes, like 315/19, 325/19. Because they are a fantastic tire.

Thanks - I'll consider the adjustment - I'm with ya. My last setup was staggerd 305/315. I'm running 19x11 Apex - I feel the 325's may be too pinched and present some clearance challenges on the front. 315 options are few and far between.

If you went to 18's, you would have a lot more tire options. I wish I could go to an 18 just for the extra tire options.

Another opinion here. I think those tires looks great. If you do mostly autocross, I'd be inclined to leave the toe alone. I'm relatively new to the Mustang platform (4 years) and I don't run autocross any more, however, when I used to run autocross and raced for points, we would run some toe-out to get a bit quicker turn in. You'll compromise tire life a bit but autocross is a different animal than track and set ups are a bit more radical.

The right way to optimize your tire camber and pressure is by temperature.

Hotter on the outside than the inside, add more negative camber. Hotter or cooler in the middle versus the edges, decrease or increase pressure.

With those Cup2 tires its hard to tell if you need more or less camber when you’ve gotten into the ballpark, and you should be in the ballpark with those camber settings.

Also consider a little bit more positive toe in the rear. Helps keep the rear in line, and you really dont want it wandering into negative toe. That gets unstable fast.
