I will soon be ordering me a new mustang and I need some help deciding on the color. I have it narrowed down to magnetic with redline interior or Oxford White with redline interior. If I go with oxford I want to have some stripes added similar to the gt350 R stripes. I am considering the metallic blue with a red pin stipe on each side. What do you think?

Thanks

Of those two, Magnetic. Oxford White is so stark to my eyes. It really is a personal choice, though, and you shouldn't let the Interwebs influence you... too much!

Color Decisions

I just ordered a 2016. The hardest decision is what color to go with. I went with Magnetic / Saddle interior. I drove a Black, White, Ruby Red, and Magnetic. I liked white the least after driving. The magnetic i remember thinking I really like this.... the only disclaimer is that the magnetic had the Performance Package which also made me decide to go with the performance package. I would also suggest driving back to back the performance package and one without. A pretty good difference, especially with the 3.73 gears. Since you can see the color of the car when driving (hood) it does make a difference on how you feel driving the car.....good luck.

Magnetic FTW, Oxford White is blah "IMO". But go with what you like man...no matter the color you WILL enjoy the car!

I think they are both awesome, but would probably do magnetic if I had the chance...

Congrats on the fantastic dilemma (best type of problem to have)!!!

I love the white car on here with the blue stripes... that is a nice looking car.

The black with the stripes is also very nice.

Mag if you are going plain.

I think both are striking. (I own one of those combos). Magnetic/redline is gorgeous, but I couldn't bring myself to order a metallic gray car. Too dark, too dusty, too hot. I came closer on Ingot Silver, kinda a compromise between the two, also gorgeous with Redline. And if we had already moved to Idaho when I ordered my car (lived in Hotville, CA at the time) I would have ordered DIB/Redline, which looks very Ferarri. I love it.

Thanks for your thoughts guys. If I do go with oxford I am just wondering if the red seats with the Blue stripes would look weird. magnetic is very nice, but I have had several grey toned cars in the past. I have had med Charcoal grey, Tungsten Grey, Driftwood ( Grey with Tan Tint), and My granddads S10 that I now own is charcoal Grey. I have had 2 black cars in the past. As well as two red cars ( Laser Red and Chilli pepper Red), not a fan of solid colors. I currently have two Blue Cars ( True Blue and Grabber Blue). the grabber will be going to my niece in October. I have even had a white car in the past, but like I said above solid colors other than grabber just don't impress me much. I really wish that Ford would offer a nice Dark Green. Guard just doesn't have enough green in it.
