Help me decide!

Ok guys, next month I will place my order of my first Mustang ever, but I have trouble deciding which color combination. I never thought that Red Line interior would grow on me, but it can't be combined with race red so my other two colors are black or magnetic or just stick with race red/black interior. Which one?

I just picked up my Magnetic PP with RedLine interior.

This is an amazing combination, not only do I love it but everyone who sees it remarks on the fantasticness of the color choice.

Honestly though, no way to make a mistake here.

I went with magnetic with PP and 50 year appearance package and wasn't too keen on redline. Then, my dealership got a magnetic with redline that I went to see and I was amazed at how good it looked in person. Even the picture above does not do it justice. I considered heavily about buying that car instead of the retail car (that I'm still waiting for since May! But no aggression about that at all coming through in my reply to you lol) and probably would have if it had the PP that's how good it looked.

But....... The car was in the original color I ordered so it was easy for me to like it. My point is you really need to lock down the exterior color you want and most importantly will not regret years later. Then design the inside the best you can make it.

Magnetic was the color I wanted hands down and it HAD to have PP and 50 Year AP. The AP shuts out the option for redline. I kept true to my guns and held off and have no regret at all.

That's my point. Have no regrets. If race red is the be all end all color for you that you'll regret not getting 2 months down the road after the newness wears off then get the race red and be happy with black. Besides, you can easily change your seat leather not your paint color.

I wanted red line recaros with my race red mustang, but alas it was not meant to be. So I stayed with race red and got ebony recaros. No "RAGRETS" LOL.


PS don't get race red it makes mine more unique lol!

I think the Redline interior looks amazing, and the Magnetic/Redline the easy choice of the three you have offered. Really classy, and it hasn't been "done to death." Red with black has been offered on every car since the dawn of time, it seems.

The race red is my top color of choice but not by that much. Also, I've had black interiors since forever, so I want something different. The thing that holds me from Magnetic is that my current DD is grey! Although I doubt it's the same color. Magnetic looks much more elegant and darker. Every time I see pics of that red line interior, I go nuts! I can only imagine how good it looks in person. Thanks for the voting guys!

Really? I think two color interiors like red and blue look very sporty on high performance cars such as the Mustang GT/Shelby, RS4/5, M3/4, AMG, etc. I wasn't a fan of the red interior on the S197 because it covered the entired seat and the steering wheel, but on the S550 it just looks gorgeous.

You NYC guys are so buttoned down, LOL. I have seen interiors similar to Redline on our streets in everything from Maseratis to BMWs to Mercedes. I think if it's good enough for that crowd, I can work with it.

I'm in that boat as well. Not my thing. I don't know why people that want red interior don't just order ruby red.

I did the Magnetic, Black interior 50th Ann & Performance Package, and I am BLOWN away how nice it is on all levels...you cant go wrong. I am not sure if you can get 50th and Red Interior...For me I LOVE the 50th badging...YOU WILL NOT GO WRONG WITH ANY OF YOUR CHOICES...Don't lament, just do!

I'm perhaps one of the few that don't like the 50th anniversary package. I don't like the gas cap at the trunk, I don't like the chrome on the taillights and I don't like the grille with chrome. Ha! I Love the vertical bars on the regular GT. Before I order, I will go to all SD dealers to see all the colors in person and make my decision.

Black and red is too...black widowy. I thing Magnetic and Redline is a unique combo.
