That’s the other option, replace the pedal. The Steeda heel-toe gas pedal is cheap and one of my favorite mods. It doesn’t raise the pedal at all, but makes it wider so that it’s easier to blip the throttle when you press the brake.
You understand what "heel and toe" means, right?Hi guys, I have a manual 2018 gt that I want to do heel and toe downshift. But I find the brake is a lot higher than the gas paddle. Is there any mods I can do to make the movement doable.
Thanks,
Mike
During street driving with the brembos they won't be level. However on a track they line up better under heavy braking. There is very little brake pedal travel on brembo cars. You understand what "heel and toe" means, right?
It's done under braking?
So, when you're braking, the brake pedal will be more or less even with the throttle.
It do it all the time during my daily drives, I've never had any issue with pedal placement. Yes, it take experience, but I've never had any need for changing the pedal alignment, it's perfect.During street driving with the brembos they won't be level. Honestly, it just takes practice to use a light touch on the street and roll into the gas for rev matching.
