Back in 2015, my girlfriend was due for a new car. Her 1999 Cougar had a catastrophic failure and she was looking for an upgrade.
At the time, I was driving a 2013 FRS which happened to be the slowest car I've owned. I've had some pretty quick cars prior, but I wanted a change of pace...
I have an 18 MT82 PP1 car. I love the MT82 with the 3.73 rear gears that come in the PP1. Might be worth trying to test drive if you insist on staying manual.
I was also in a similar situation. I could either afford a PP1, or a Premium. I couldn't afford both.
I was looking into the premium, and all of the features were of little use to me. I am the kind of person who likes to shut myself off from the world when I drive. I don't want to deal with...
Please report back when you do emissions. I'm stock at the moment, but live about a half hour from you. Our emissions regulations will be the same, so I'll know exactly what I need when I get to that point.
I chose cosmetic.
If I could start all over with cars in general, I would have much rather spent my money doing track days and driving classes. Drivers mod is the best investment in my opinion.
I don't have much experience with these cars yet, but when I was in the Shelby Dodge scene, tuners would have the check engine light flash if a certain amount of detonation was detected. Maybe Lund does something like this?
The most important thing is to run a quality oil, and to change it when necessary.
Amsoil certainly is a great oil. I doubt for the money you spend on Amsoil, you would get that money back in fuel mileage or longevity.
I had a friend look up the cost of Amsoil for my previous car. For 6qts...
Any time I try to heel-toe, I nearly send myself through the windshield by applying too much brake pressure when trying to reach the accelerator pedal. Damn Brembos are touchy.
You would be surprised as to how much moisture you garage will develop. My Trans Ams leather interior decided to grow mold and the car hasn't left the garage in a few years. Might be wise to grab a dehumidifier is possible.
I haven't had much opportunity to set up music for the car, but I do have a handful of bands that will be on the list.

Hey guys, I'm Shawn.
I was lurking for a while, and almost on a whim decided to trade in my car and bought a 2018 GT PP1.
I haven't had much time to take pictures as it's my busy season at work, but it's a black on black, options robbed car with the spoiler delete. So far I absolutely love...
