Headlight adjustment

Clipped a small deer tonight and from what I can see there is no sheet metal damage , but the passenger side headlight is aimed way down now and it won't adjust up , it doesn't look damaged either. Could it be something broke internally on the light?

If the headlight is pointing down, you likely bent the metal supporting the housing or broke one of the lower mountings. This might help: Fix your headlight bumper gap

Knowing you have hit something, it's a very high probability that the back of the headlamp mounting points or the "header panel" to which the headlights mount into or the actual internal assembly is even damaged from such an impact.

I don't know if the below will help you out, but this is the info for headlight adjustments and alignment of beams applicable for 2015-2018+.

In the below images (Image 2), you can see the adjustment screw protruding from the top of the headlamp and where it intersects the small “box” on the assembly; this would be the “ball and socket” reference.

the housing itself seems ok ,it's like the bulb is pointing down and I can adjust it down but no amount of turning the adjustment will make it go up

To me sounds like it bent wherethe bulb mounts into
Ie a socket
Maybe you could bend it back
