Hi guys,
I'm new to mustang and my car has only 2k miles. I notice that the coolant in reservoir is bubbling when engine is on. Is this a sign of head gasket leak? I checked oil and it's not milky. Or I'm thinking too much :frown: Thanks.

That isn't bubbling caused by exhaust gases in the coolant system, that's condensation. Totally normal. Drive more, worry less. Especially with a brand new car.

Also, to put your mind at ease, these cars aren't known for head gasket issues.

do you see a plume of white smoke out the back?

Is this an ecoboost?

Usually forced induction more often can have head gasket failure. Unlikely on a N/A V8 so new.

That's remnants of the coolant just splashing around or just condensation. Nothing to worry about. If it was a blown headgasket your coolant wouldn't even be showing in the reservoir.
