I’ve run both the Michelin and Continental and I thought the Continental Extreme Contact Sport was a better overall tire. The price on the Continentals has gone up.
Really? That sucks big time.

That tire is my go-to when Michelin wants to be funny with their pricing.

Just a random thought, but knowing how many tires they go through at the Track Attack school, where are they getting their tires? I know they use the PSS, and probably buy in bulk, but with all the cars they have, they have to go through hundreds of them a year.

Just got a set of Falken RT660's the other day. Super quick from TireRack. Interested to see how they compare with the cup 2's that felt great on the track.

What size did you get? They don't have GT350 sizes, do they?

debating what to do... I have an extra set of CF wheels with cup 2s...those tires are from a 19... and then the ones on my 20R. I should probably sell both sets and buy some PS4S.

The dealer where I bought my 350R in June put on a set of 4S, but couldn't find the 315 rears so went square with the 305. My tire guy finally found a pair of 315 4S a couple of weeks ago and put them on the rear, I'm keeping the extra 305s for the front. Michelin told him at the time there were 7 in inventory.

I have several sets of almost new (200-500miles) cup2 in 305/30/19 I can ship. Also just switch to Supercar 3. If you have USAA you can get them for 20-30% off to boot.
Really? From where? The usaa discount?

I have to replace my 295/35 19 Conti SportContact Extreme. I bought a set of used 305/35 19 Mich PSS from a member here that still had 6/32 tread, they come with 8/32s. The Conti 295s are on back order so I ordered a set of Mich 285/35 19 MIch PS4S to go with the Mich PSS rears, its taking 5 days to get here. Seems to be a shortage going around.

If you have a Shelby GT350 and you need tires for all corners, everywhere its on backorder even for the 295/35/19 MIch PSS. The PS4S is available for the 295s but they don't make them for the 305s. WTF!!
Since you've driven on both, I'm curious to how you feel about the difference. I've got Conti Extreme Sports for most of the year (Southern Indiana) and Conti DWS's for the sub 40 degree season. I'm happy for the most part and the Conti's were cheaper not that it's everything, but seem like great tires for the money. You can definitely feel that the DWS's on 19's are squirmier than the EC's on 20's, but it's a tradeoff for the traction and the softer ride is a nice benefit as well.

I feel the CSC Extreme are in the Mich PSS league, not quite the PS4S though. Just a tad off. I have owned all 3 models. The Mich PSS and MIch PS4S on the M3 and now the Contis on the Mustang. I am getting the PS4S in 285/35/19 for the front and Mich PSS 305/35/19 for the rears. My Contis are bald out back.
