So got a couple track days coming up and bald Michelin's on the GT350. I ended up ordering the Continental Extreme Contact Sport in 305/30R19 for the front and 325/30R19 for the rear. Has anyone run these sizes, with any brand, and if so how well do they work?

Is that a bad thing?
Just thought it was funny.
Two questions were asked. One requires an actual place to buy and the other just a yes or no.
As of now, we know that you can get a discount through USAA but don’t know where.

Thanks. Been a USAA member forever. Even bought a car through their service once. Never realized you could get tires (if available).

Edit: logged in. Only see Goodyear.

Search for Discount Tire Direct after you log in. Also while logged in, there is a 10% military discount available.

Pulled my crappy PS4S on stock wheels and ordered GoodYear Eagle F1 SuperCar 3’s from TireRack last week (285/35/19 squared on Apex SM10’s). Couldn’t believe they arrived the next day! Serious, next day!
Never used TireRack before, but will again.
How do you find the performance?

I have several sets of almost new (200-500miles) cup2 in 305/30/19 I can ship. Also just switch to Supercar 3. If you have USAA you can get them for 20-30% off to boot.
Do you find Supercar 3's comparable/better than the Cup 2's? Or, how do they compare to the PS4S? Appreciate your input.

If this helps on how far behind Michelin is, I remembered this being brought up in one of the Facebook groups a couple weeks back. A guy that works at the Alabama plant said they were about 100k tires behind.

Wow. So stock up if you see your size is what I'm hearing; things could be worse come spring...

the SC3 are significantly superior to the PS4S in everything but heavy wet. They also last much longer than Cup2 and seem to stick as good or damn close. The cup2 is a LIGHT tire by comparison and very squishy/soft construction. The SC3 is noticeably heavier (I was throwing them up over my head to put them on racks) and very stiff construction by contrast.

The SC3 strike me as a very responsive tire that gives good feedback on what the car is doing.

The last set of SC3 I bought (285/35) were $900 delivered and included mount+balance. The SC3R in 305/30 were 1100. Thanks to the USAA discount.

Just bought PS4S for my GT350 (stock wheels). Grabbed them in 305/30/19 front and 315/30/19 rear.

My Cup2 are dead, been enjoying going sideways but it's time to put the rubber to the road again. Ready to do some burnouts and donuts for sure before they get junked though 😂

How many miles did you get out of the Cup2’s?
What kind of driving have you been doing?
