Just curious, did you just get an email now? Or did you just notice the website was updated?

I gave up on the email quest. Called Ford Performance. Seems about right, last update they said 7/20. Two weeks added for the July shutdown.

Why does my blend date on my sticker say 7/28 but the tracking says in production now?

This week I've been trying to order an M1 and all the dealers here in San Diego want between $5k and $10k over MSRP! Did any of you have to pay a premium?

Just chiming in to put the delays mentioned here into a perspective.

"My" Mach 1 (EU version) was a dealer order, placed in January. The original build date was 4/12, incidentally the same date Ford announced the first shutdown in Flat Rock.

Then, for the following two months Ford was not able to give any date, then I got vague July/August, which with the recent news was updated to September (hopefully beginning).

Meanwhile, Ford has been apparently able to take and deliver other orders.

There are not many options in the EU version. One can choose the transmission, color, Recaro seats, and "premium" wheels. Everything else is set by Ford, so I wonder, if there is anything specific about the EU version, or why is it getting pushed back, while apparently the other (US) orders are getting served.

Considering the current trend and two month shipping to Europe, I am mentally preparing myself for Christmas delivery.

Of course they are going to prioritize their cash cow versus the others. I'm not surprised.

If it’s March, they should give you the first 2022 M1!

I'm not sure if you were making a joke or not. This is the fist car I've ever ordered. Does Ford really push it into the next model year? I just ordered mine and estimated around October for a delivery.


..if it's pushed out till next year, I might as well save for that bare bone GT500, lol

We’re in uncharted waters so it’s hard to say. Manufacturers have not been in this position before so who knows what they will do with the orders they can’t fulfill. It seems like rolling them over to ‘22 is the logical solution but some of those buyers are going to move on. I hope they find a way to get all the ‘21 Mach 1’s built so it’s not an issue.

I ordered mine the third week of June. Ford originally set my build date to august 30. Then a week or so later they randomly updated the build date to august 23.

And just a couple days ago, despite the news of the factory shutting down for a couple weeks in July, they updated my build date to August 9.

OK so I have to ask since I ordered March 22 and have a production date of Aug 23… what color and options did you order?
