To hell with the warranty, i want speed and I want it now..........well in 6 months timeonce my warranty is gone, im supercharging
Turbos will be a lot more.is nobody considering twin turbo's ? seriously giving the hellion kit a look at
considerably cheaper.Turbos will be a lot more.
Depends what kit... Helion Twin Turbo kit properly done can set you up the same as a Whipple will, it'll run you more potential power once the internals are upgraded etc.considerably cheaper.
Indeed, i was saying twin turbo's gonna come up way more expensive than the Superchargers ;)But that is in the US. Add import tax and VAT and we are way above the cost of a supercharger kit. The labour charges on a turbo install is also much higher.
A Procharger install is around £8200 and speaking to Ford, they are guestimating around £10k fitted (pinch of salt here).
I love the idea of a twin turbo setup and yes big power is possible but you'd need major engine work to do that.
This is something i would like to do nxt year. The whipple seems to be the most popular.Fitting seems very reasonable but like anything prices will increase over time.
The harrop looks like they will only ship to that agent for them to fit and or tune.I'm also interested in the Edelbrock which looks like the same supercharger, looking through the pdf instructions it looks like its geared up for RHD fitment but they supply with an sct x4 tuner.Did i read somwhere they dont work on our cars?
