No rain drops anywhere on the body and none visible anywhere else. Also, sun is shining but that’s not definitive. It’s more likely the steering wheel airbag caused the wiper arm to move or the driver hit it before, during, or after the accident.Apparently it appears it may have been raining, as wipers were on. Giant power and slick surfaces (light rain is worse than heavy rain due to how it interacts with oils in pavement) are times for utilizing uber caution...
Hope no one was hurt
I dont think that will happen because usually a bone head move leads up to this. Dont hold your breath for them to come out of the woodwork. Probably someone with more money than brains.I'm shocked no one has piped up and said "yeah, that was me".
I'm waiting for the "Is it totaled?" thread to start.I'm shocked no one has piped up and said "yeah, that was me".
I’m with ya there, most of my dumbass moments happened before phones were glued to everyone’s faces. Thankfully I’ve let go of most of my ego when it comes to driving. I bet some of you in here would be pretty bummed at how I normally drive my GT500Sad to see, but at least he used his. I'd not be so bold to pull a stomp through the floor boards on a public street with retail businesses and cross traffic , other than while the city sleeps.
But I highly doubt most commenting, drive their 500-800 hp cars like a priest.
It is sad that someone wrecked his pride and joy, and his personal pride. But it is also sad some of the post here.
Wisdom comes with age, we all have pulled bone head moves. Lucky for most of us, ours were before everyone had a camera, video camera in pocket that can up load the bonehead move in seconds.
The way some replied, I wonder if they own a Mustang or a Toyota Echo.
Uhhh, my father was a Minister (retired) and he has many more speeding tickets than I do... drive their 500-800 hp cars like a priest
Thanks for clarifying, I too am in FL and the weather here can change so quickly. Do you know if the driver was ticketed? If anyone cares, dry road, guy was showboating after the car in front of him was driving slow and turned off he went to show off to the guy who shot that vid, apparently while flying down the road and a toyota camry pulled out and he swerved out of the way and crashed at a publix in Auburndale FL.
And the wipers are the cars way of fucking with you going "no no no"

There is no mention of it. But there is a discussion that has been going on as to the Camry being at partial fault and liable for some of the damages, How that can even fly is beyond me considering the guy was speeding, even if Fl is a no fault state, so if his insurance is going to pay for th repair he might as well bend over and bite on something cause they will be going in dry for monthly payments. Thanks for clarifying, I too am in FL and the weather here can change so quickly. Do you know if the driver was ticketed?
