My wife taught me the best response to that -- "it's not a car, it's an experience." She didn't understand why I wanted a Mustang until I told her it was an "experience" to me. And then in 2015 we took a trip around Lake Ontario in my 2015 and she learned that Mustangs are something special to a lot of people (both sides of the border) and they are "a thing." Or in her terms, an experience. So when Ford first offered up the new Mach 1 in 2021, she said "you should do it."
You're not buying a car. You're buying an experience. "Smiles per mile" experience!

Yes, I have received these questions in my C6, C7, and now my Mach 1. Funny that my 2013 SVT Raptor I did not, it was black so people just thought it was a regular truck since you could not really see its SVT name.

Mine’s Race Red as well, so obviously you have exceptional taste. Red has always been my favorite color — and honestly, people who don’t like red can’t fully be trusted. I mean, it’s literally the color of our blood. If that’s not a sign from nature itself, I don’t know what is.

People geek out over my car WAY more than they ever did with my PP GT, even in grabber blue, it never got that kind of attention. I know its doubly so for the Shelby's. I know many people that have them and everybody goes gaga over them. Rightly so... Rode with this guy Sunday, had a BLAST... That thing is ROWDY, FAST, and LOUD

I will say the Shelby gets a good amount of attention, but not as much as my sebring orange C8. Maybe it's because the Shelby is solid black (no longer have stripes) but the people who know what it is always give a thumbs up.

Yeah, I know. It is for a New Edge Mach. I have a T shirt too with it.. I fell in love with an Azure blue Mach first. Drove it and had to have one. Of course I wanted the newer model, all the newer conveniences LOL...

Exactly . I had the 10 speed GT Premium PP car. But I wanted back in a manual. Drove the New edge on a Saturday that a friend had and was hooked. Found my 21 on Wednesday, signed the papers on Thursday and drove it home

I wanted that car too. I still see it often, drive by the guys house several times a week.

Love the Stealth TT, When those hit the streets down here everyone was racing them for a few years

I’ve had my GT350 for six years now and I’m continually amazed at the number of positive responses I get at car shows ,cars and coffee ,during road trips etc… people very often comment about the color- Performance blue seems to be an unusual color that people don’t see very often.
I was at an indoor showcase this fall with a lot of really special cars and I was amazed at how many people came up and started talking to me about the Shelby. The demographics varied from old /young men/ women/ teens… so much to talk about with this car …some had questions about the engine, others about the handling performance sound, etc. it just seems to attract people in a lot of positive Ways…. Overall, the ownership the experience has been great.
