Anyway we can get a raw metal one?
It's possible - but the prices reach into $250+ (with 3D Printing)
I also looked into CNC process but my model has too much detail and curvature for a CNC machine to properly process it.

If you take the plastic version to a local jewelry maker they should be able to easily make a silicone mold to cast them in an inexpensive low melting temp metal like pewter. Making more would likely be even cheaper than 3D printing them. The figure 8 shape you made the tail in though might be an issue for a split mold.

I hear ya! - I'm still working on nailing down a process to prep/paint/clear coat this version.
Have a few OEM paint colors on hand already (Orange Fury, Lightning Blue, Oxford White and Ruby Red)
I'm sure they will look a bit different since they are not going on an car panel (but should be close)

They look great!

Are these final versions going to be metal or another substance?

Can you make edible chocolate ones? Just really curious, not hungry or anything...

These are made in a highly durable plastic called Nylon12 - It is surprisingly strong and detailed.
Although it is light (I hoped for something heavier). It being heavy would be nice but then would cost more to ship.
They will be painted in a few select OEM paint colors (Hopefully the end color looks close to actual car paint)

LOL - actually a mold could be made which can then be used to create chocolate versions :p

Will the entire thing be painted one solid color, or will the eyes and scales be painted a different color from the rest of the body? (I realize that would be pretty involved, but just seeking clarification.)
