Different part numbers but otherwise identical. I was going to install the 350 parts on mine and after I had my stock one removed I discovered everything was the same. Weight was the same and diameters were the same. I ended up returning the 350 shafts.
Is yours a manual or a10? Nvmd, saw your profile mt-82. I think the manual only cars got the drivers gt350 shafts. They are only $350 for pair new.

Yes, my car is a manual. I guess one could look up and compare the part numbers for both a PP 2018 manual and an auto.

The 2018+ auto has a stepped driver's side half shaft like just like all the 2015-2017 models.

I don't think you can use the GT 350 axles without the 350 rear brakes and hubs. The standard rear brakes have the parking brake integrated into the caliper, whereas the 350 has a small drum brake inside the rear rotor that is the parking brake. Because of this the 350 requires a totally different rear hub and it also pushes the wheel mounting flange outward, also requiring different offset wheels and a longer axle shaft.
yeah, this is completely incorrect. The GT350 axels not only can be used on any S550 they are a very popular upgrade for NA 15-20 mustangs. sorry I know this post is old but this was just bad info.

Is your 18 a performance pack? The 18 and up performance pack shafts have a different part number than the 350's but the shafts are identical.
incorrect. the 350 half shafts have the left side that is thicker. which is the failure side.

This is a very old post that l started, l did buy and install the GT350 half shafts in my 2018 Mustang GT. The left shaft (drivers side) was much thicker than my factory shaft. The right side (passanger) was the exact same. They are relatively easy to change, but not necessary to change the passanger side.
