This is a very old post that l started, l did buy and install the GT350 half shafts in my 2018 Mustang GT. The left shaft (drivers side) was much thicker than my factory shaft. The right side (passanger) was the exact same. They are relatively easy to change, but not necessary to change the...
Wow
Wow, that's definitely something to think about there. Maybe l will send it back and get the magnaflow, although l don't have that kind of horsepower, I'm staying naturally aspirated. But l bought my car primarily to drag race and I'm trying to get it into the 10's with the stock converter...
I like the quality of the Borla resonator so I'm not going to go through the trouble of returning it, l will make it work. I am just looking for something that's free flowing and will make my car quieter. I have the factory axle back exhaust from my H-pipe and it's still to loud for me.
I do not have stock headers on my car, l have a set of Kooks on it. And just because they show a picture in an advertisement doesn't necessarily mean it's the actual product being sold to you. Regardless, it was just a question l had concerning the part. I will modify the small inlet and make it...
Sir if you go to the Summit website and look up Borla resonator part # 60661, it is advertised as 3 inch inlet, 3 inch outlet. That's why l was wondering if they sent me the wrong part.
I ordered a Borla resonator from Summit racing for my 18 GT. Received it yesterday and when l opened it up, it's not as advertised. It's advertised as 3" in 3" out but only one end is 3", the other end is 21/2. Has anyone else experienced this, or did they ship me the wrong one?
Other than Ford, I don't know if any of the Mustang performance dealers like Steeda or American Muscle sell them separately. But l bet it would be expensive through a Ford dealership.
Just for information guys, l just finished putting a set of GT350 half shafts in my 2018 10r80 GT. The drivers side is noticeably different, no necking down on the axle at all. The passanger side axles were identical, no need in changing both axles. Had l known that l wouldn't of changed it, as...
Thanks for the pic and the info, l am picking up a new set from a member this weekend. He ended up not using them and they are new in the box. I also just ordered a ported intake from Beefcake Racing, goin to try and get the car into the 10's with stock converter and gears.
No my car is not a PP car, it is a 300A, l bought the cheapest 10r80 car I could find strictly for drag racing it. I'm not going to ruin it by gutting it or anything like that, but it is primarily going to be used for drag racing and weekend car hangouts. I love the car, they are awesome.
Hey guys I'm new to this site and have an 18 Gt with a 10r80 trans. Doing some drag racing with it and I'm a little concerned about the stoock axles. Has anyone been running the GT350 axles as opposed to the DSS or G Force axles, and if so how are they holding up. I have kooks long tubes...
