I thought lug nuts were 150?
I've seen 150 tossed around but the 148 I used came from multiple Ford publications. That 2lbs is probably outside the margin of error for most torque wrenches at those values anyhow.

150 is a lot. I torqued my lugs down to 125 and had a problem getting them off with a three foot long breaker bar. I'm using Coyote acorn lug nuts from AM. I'm worried if I follow the correct torque spec, I won't be able to get my wheels off.

Those values are for the stock wheels and stock style lug nuts with a larger base. If your lug nuts use a smaller base then less torque is probably required. It's best to ask the shop the sold the lugs or wheels at that point, I'm no expert. ;)

Thanks Coaster. I called AM and they said 80-105 ft pounds for their "tuner style" lug nuts. Whew :clap2:

Fantastic thread. What about these, can these be verified from another thread:

Upper Strut Nut - 76 lb-ft
Strut to Spindle - 184 lb-ft
Stabilizer to Strut - 85 lb-ft
Caliper Bolts - 85 lb-ft
Rear Sub-frame Bolts - 129 lb-ft
Rear Shock Upper Bolts - 66 lb-ft
Rear Shock Strut Nut - 22 lb-ft

Unsure on the front strut upper mount bolts (3x) as I have CC plates installed.

using 18" breaker bar here and have no issues taking them off, im not a huge guy either. I have the gorilla lugs with the large acorn base. They need more torque than before because they are larger 14mm studs

Thanks. I believe all those are already listed, just with different names.

I just added this thread in my sig as the most helpful thread I've come across.
Thanks!

Oh and FYI your sig is too tall so the bottom is cut off. ;)

Crap! Took out my car, fixed it right to the top. I've been so frustrated with all these install videos and MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS that have NO torque values its unbelievable. Probably want to absolve themselves from legal issues. :tsk:
