Hello, I just recently purchased the steeda S550 mustang handling suspension package and I was curious what were the torque specs for the major parts when putting them on. I seem to can't find anything on that so please let me know as soon as possible, thanks.

Too late for this weekend, but call Steeda...message @tj@steeda , maybe he might see it before the end of the weekend. I don't know the specs either as I haven't installed yet.

The many of our suspension components are torqued to factory specs.

What parts do you currently have that you are installing?

Shoot me an email at [email protected].

Just curious, how come you guys, Steeda, don't put the applicable torque specs in the documentation in the first place?

Great question - every year, Ford does subtle changes to the vehicles - and the aftermarket at times, is playing catch-up in regards to those changes.

If we publish the torque specs and a change is made that we are not aware of - then the wrong specs would be published and it was cause a cascading effect from having to change the directions, to parts not being installed correctly, etc.

That is why we rely on the factory specs when available.
