On the 2014 GT people actually did get 4.5 seconds on the track apps built-in timer with 3.55 gears. On the 2015 GT with PP (3.73 gears), I have not seen people get much better than 5.2 seconds with no mods using the track apps built-in timer (unless they mod their redline to around 7300 RPM). In my quest to get 4.5 seconds, I will go a few more runs on my stock setup (when I get my car out of repair), but that 7300 RPM redline mod is very tempting so I can hit 60 in 2nd...

Note that on the 2014 GT with 3.55, modded exhaust (long tubes), and Boss 302 intake, it was about the same speed as my 2015 GT with PP and no mods. The only issue I've been having is that 3rd gear not always cooperating causing me troubles with the shifts. Note that the 2014 GT with those 2 mods was the same speed as my car (when going head to head), so it might be a measurement issue with the 2015 track pack acceleration timer working properly on the PP; I just need to find my dash-mount one to check this theory.

A GT with a 3.08 will hit 60 in 4.5s. No need to shift at redline in these, look at the Coyote's tq curve. 2nd gear is most important..

I tried some 0-60 runs today for the first time since the last time my shifter broke. The shifter did not mechanically break this time, but 3rd gear did break. Now, when I shift into 3rd, the shift knob does go into 3rd but my transmission stays in neutral. 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and reverse have no issue, but 3rd won't work unless I stay in neutral for several seconds, then very slowly go into 3rd.

I think this is related to the first issue I had where 3rd was near impossible to get into quickly. Now, the issue became much worse and 3rd is near impossible to get into at any shift speed. Back to the repair shop again...

So, two broken shifters and now a hosed up tranny when trying to get 0-60 times? Sounds like you should trade for an auto..

 I am willing to bet you can't even measure your crappy 0-60 time because you didn't buy the premium with the track-apps. Go buy a better car yourself or post your actual 0-60 times on your car rather than bite on somebody who currently has one of the best 0-60 times stock with 3.73 gears and the PP on this forum Mr. "my wheels never spin when I do a 0-60!" Get real.

I found my old dash/windshield mount acceleration 0-60 timer! So now, we have something to double-check the accuracy of the track-apps with. However, the windshield suction cups are worn and need to be replaced and I still have to wait to get my 3rd gear fixed before trying it.

Ford repair told me they will replace the transmission next week as it was cheaper/easier to replace than repair. I feel better when they 'replace' rather than 'repair' because at least you know it will work when you get a new part rather than a refurbished part.

Although my experience in having to go back to the repair shop for two different issues on both times I tried to get the best 0-60 times is not that enjoyable, I still encourage others to push their car to try to get the best 0-60 times and report them here (warranty is so worth having). If anybody does get a 4.4 to 4.6 sec 0-60 time on their GT Premium PP (3.73) - hopefully not going down a hill or with non-stock mods, then let us know how to copy it as nobody here seems to be getting anywhere close to those times.

Yea well if u have 373 and in a cold time environment I will say u are a bunch of bullshit, or u are not really launching the car in which that case i would not spin either.Pp 373 and cold meaning below 45 those p zeros are not going to hook unless on prepped surface.Oh and by y he way ive been1/4 drag racing since i was 18 now im 46.Unless im misunderstanding what ur saying.Ok im sorry I see ur in Florida big difference in temps here lol.

All 2015 stangs come with track apps. No need for premium.

Thanks Speedfreak13. That's my point. I found myself roasting my transmission trying to get the 'magazine' published 4.4 - 4.6 sec 0-60 times with 3.73 gears at 80 degrees F using track apps at sea level on my 2015 GT PP and have the same best time as you.

I think people who are too scared to try to get their own results (or don't have a '15 GT PP or get crappy results and don't want to post them) get off on telling the people who actually post their results "if you can't get the published times or your car breaks when you try to get those times it must be your fault". My point is that nobody gets those times stock on a 2015 PP GT (3.73), and if I have to break my transmission trying, this is an issue. Could be some cars have more HP than others (dyno differences of stock cars seem to point to this) or some weird shifting/mods or acceleration timer differences.

When I get my car fixed, I'm going to ask the repair shop guy (who has a Shelby) to take a test drive with me and let him try to get those times. I also have a different acceleration timer than the track-apps, so I will use that when I get my car back to verify if track-apps is the issue (a 2014 GT had same acceleration as me, so maybe there is some issue with the 2015 track apps calibration on a GT PP).

Stock GT Premium automatic w/ 3.55 gears 20 inch wheels, bone stock today 900 miles on the odometer at 51 degrees on a straight flat road in the middle of nowhere. Best time of 2 attempted on the track-apps…

4.7 seconds

I'm still getting used to the car and with more than 2 runs I think I can trim this down to 4.5 or lower if I get the urge.

I agree 3.55 gears do better on 0-60 than 3.73 from the current data. I bought my car to get the best 0-60 because of the wider 9.5" rear wheels, bigger brakes, and tall gears, but until I see other people consistently getting 4.4 - 4.6 seconds with 3.73, especially the same people who had 4.5 sec on their 2014 GT, I am thinking about modding my car. Possible mods:

Increase redline/fuel-shut off to 7250 RPM (FREE)
Change 3.73 gear to 3.31 or 3.55 ($500?)
Add supercharger ($6000?)

Would have been nice to find somebody getting the published stock '15 GT PP 0-60 times using 3.73 for the extra money the PP costs.

I always spin 2nd and slam 3rd consistent 5.2/5.3 I'm sure it can go under 5 sec in ideal conditions with a professional driver.

with those mods and the same tires u still might not be under 5 seconds. These tires suck. The ass end has slid out from under me several times in 3rd not even at wot. Honestly I think tires will make the biggest difference. I'm putting my supercharger on this week so I will do some runs after the install.
