I have a couple of noises I wanted to check in with the forums about:

The car is a 2015 GT Auto with 1800 miles on it. Gentle the first 1000 and I've started opening it up daily. Only mod is catback exhaust.

1) So I pulled into the garage today and noticed a whine when the car was in drive or reverse. It sound like a slightly annoyed pump or TC. It's only really noticeable in the garage where it can echo off the walls. This is the first time I have noticed it. See video below.

2) Since I have had the car there has been a whine that sounds like a bad radio ground when getting on it, but the radio is powered off.

Are either of these familiar to automatic folks? I'm currently in the wait and see mode. If the transmission starts acting up or the whines get louder then I will take it to the dealer.

Almost 8,500 miles. My tranny has no whine that I can detect.

Might just want to take it in now it shouldn't be doing those things.

Thanks guys. I may take it if things change. I just dread dealing with the dealer on noises with no other symptoms.

I just picked up my 2015 GT with AT on Jan 2. When the car is cold, I get a whine that seems to be coming from the trans when coasting at low speed, like up to a stop sign for example. After it's warmed up, the ghostlike whine sound seems to go away....

I don't believe that's normal either. My auto does not make that sound.
It almost sounds like you have a supercharger... :) Sorry...
