I have 23,000 miles on my 2016 and have had ZERO problems. I see about 1/2 quart of oil disappear every 3,000 miles. I rarely check my oil level, probably once every 6-8 weeks. I treat my GT350 like all my other cars and I expect it to behave the same or better.

14,000 mi, with just over 10k of it on this set up. No excessive oil usage, no odd noises...

I have a few questions about those beautiful turbos under there. What size are they and how much boost are you running? Is it a Hellion kit or a custom one? And what did you upgrade the OPGs to?

They are precision 55’s running around 8.5lbs. It’s a Hellion kit and I upgraded my OPG’s before install. Hellion has a new kit that puts the turbos under the car as well. Looks a little more sleeper.

Thanks for the feedback. I would assume turbo lag is almost non-existent. What made you go for the 55's VS 64's or 67's?

Will break 10k at road atlanta. 6 track days, minimal issues. Same corny ass grin here everytime I drive my R
Didn't make it to Road Atlanta before busting 10k miles. I am now over 10K on my way to road Atlanta. Just changed the oil. Still had some life, little to no debris or ferrous metals. I have added about 1qt in 5k miles. I drive the seldom commute to work but often drive some choice roads. Its been really hot here in the south and she is running like a champ.

Since I’m only running 8-9lbs, and can’t do any more than 12 anyway, there was no reason to go with a larger turbo. I’m not even really leaning on the 55’s and there is virtually no lag. 55’s on an engine that’s 12:1 is a very streetable combo.

Bummed we missed each other! Was just there last weekend with Just Track It. Had a blast. Made it down to a 1:40 by end of day 2. Such an amazing track. Have fun and drive safe-ish!

Safe-ish!!! HAHAHA One thing is certain, I will avoid most of the curbs, so I've been told. This is my first to RA so I doubt I will be booking a 1:40. That's moving my friend, great time. Got some good notes from a friend and have watched lots of videos.

Lots of places to have a bad day at Road Atlanta for sure. Turn 1, turn 12 and the esses are areas where I HIGHLY recommend staying on the racing line and keeping throttle steady. But the kerbs at turn 3 and 10a/10b are totally fair game. You'll have an absolute blast!

Good information! Did you change anything in how you used the car from break in through 6500 miles, or do you think just the miles helped to seat the rings more?
No, not really. It’s 100% street driven with an occasional 8250 rpm blast.

Wow!!! Ran Road Atlanta, what a track. Ok now back to the car. I missed an early session but ran my second pit in and asked the event manager if I could jump in with the intermediate group. The car ran for almost 1 hour straight on track and not just any track. High speed RA. No brake fade, temp or pressure issues and ambient temps were in the 90's. That is race ready if you ask me. Engine performed flawlessly.
