Grabber blue is the same as French racing blue. Maybe Ford wouldn't pay France the royalty so it can't be used anywhere in the EU. Only way to know for sure is if the UK leaves the EU and Ford reinstates Grabber Blue in the UK.

It's still available in Oz. Only Germany is excluding Grabber Blue. Still no logical explanation for this decision though:shrug:

The configurator seems to be updated with deleted colours removed but grabber blue isn't there and lightning blue is also absent from the options - no blues for Germany??

I just checked the German configurator and Grabber and Lightning are still on the configurator. I ordered Lightning blue back in April and my window sticker said my car was built on 10 June.
Hopefully it was built. That begs a question. Especially in Germany where everything must be by the book and followed to the T. Customers that ordered and signed a contract for Grabber Blue and now that color is not available. I suppose that customer can cancel his/her contract. Ford dealer might try to strong arm customer into taking another color however, I suppose if push comes to shove the customer can legally cancel the sales contract / order.

It's not only Germany. Grabber Blue has been pulled off in Poland as well.

That sucks to hear. Grabber Blue is one of the head-turnin-est Mustang colors.

Ford germany is now telling their dealers that grabber blue is not available anymore for EU Mustangs. They are not even sure if orders in that color will keep Grabber or have to switch to another color, they will inform the dealers later about that. :headbonk:

WTF Ford? Since all Mustangs are build in Flatrock I really don't see a point in not offering the color in EU anymore
Is there something official to back these claims? Isn't the colour on the German configurator?? Considering it's very similar to BMW's Yas Marina Blue & Volvo's Rebel Blue, I couldn't imagine a logical reason for such a decision. Someone should ask Deysha from Ford Service to confirm...

I know I’m a little late to the party, but looking into this for you guys.

WOAH! That is NOT good news! Grabber Blue would be my first choice

I was just going to say; if it's just EU Mustangs, you have no reason to worry!

Perhaps the EU has regulations against that shade of blue? After all they have over 20,000 regulations controlling growing and selling certain vegetables.

They said EU - it may not apply to you - more reasons to have voted Brexit?

Despite voting out, we'll still be in the EU for up to two more years.

However, a lack of Grabber Blue would certainly be the BEST reason to leave
