+1This guy^ gets it.
I had a new 1999-00 Z06. The cornering force even at 28mph was visceral and in control. It was so light, agile and perfect form of pedal, steering and engine response.
But the antiquated suspension eventually led me back to BMW. But magneride makes that point moot now. So as the GT350 (& GT350r) enter the arena thing change a tad bit.
Both (GT350 & C7) are fully competent tack, road coarse cars, both within $15,000'ish of each other?
Mustang VS Vette has and will always go on.
And the Mustang predominantly is/will always be the underdog. But the street battle are not about whos cars the best.. as GT Pony said above^. The engagement is just a test, an acknowledgement of the practice.
Glad the OP had fun. But never in traffic.
I wonder how the GT350 will fare against the Corvette on the back strait @ Circuit of the Americas (& can I listen..?). How do they compare with aero Cd and what is the VE of a that 5.2 liter FPC @ 8,250rpms vs that chevy..???
Myself, I think the GT350 w/magneride will offer a better driving experience. I can not wait to see 70~120mph pulls between these two cars. Along with the new M2 coming.
Coincidentally, I want to hear more about whether Ford Performance offers that Track Attack program. Or makes it a clubsport car.
I am waiting.
