I know, I'm a little concerned. Maybe he thinks there's a monster-clown-car hiding under his bed ... ?
The side intake might suck me in when I go to open the door! AAAHHH!!

You couldn't drive it winter. For you that means you'll be safe 9-10 months out the year..

So, I assume no remote start option.

Maybe not the Stingray trim, but.... there will be AWD

FMA, the proportions on that are terrible. I spent some time looking at Z06 and ZR1 flavor C7s vs. the C8, hands down, the C7 looks better, and that's coming from someone who isn't a huge fan of the C7.

The c5 c6 and c7's are beautiful. I love that long hood design, it just screams muscle. C8..meh

Actually there’s a C8 tester outside FENTON mi that has a house along 23 (see the C8 parked in his driveway from 23) thAt has been driving one all winter. He has a different one every week it seems... I see him driving around town all time.

I’m with you. I prefer American muscle with a front engine designs.

I would think mid engine would be great for winter driving. Clearance could be an issue if the snow was deeper than a few inches, but traction with the right tires should be fine.

Back when I had a Fiero, traction was great in the snow. Steering not so much. Plowed through many an intersection thinking I was gonna turn the corner.

Good point, and with a DCT you might not get the engine braking you'd prefer to have in order to to transfer weight to the front wheels in a corner.

Tires and the clown behind the wheel matter wayyyyy more than the chassis layout in winter driving.
