Wow could have been much worse! First Mustang got outa dodge quick.

I know this road well. Lots of proving going on down this stretch. The cops have limited spots to hang out. The highway has guard rails, and bicycle paths for shoulders going each direction. Nice long straights with clear vision ahead. On weekends it is way to crowded for spirited driving many folks enjoying the overhanging bluffs along the Missisippi river as they drive.

The vette sounded great, but coming up from behind on what appeared to be a sneek attack, he may have got what he deserved...

The second Stang was not a GT first one may have been as he was long gone with the head start.

What's weird is he was still on the gas even as he was almost sideways and contacting the median at least judging by the tire marks at 0:47. Looks like the gear change really got it spinning and it went sideways after that

@ JWT I noticed that too. My thoughts are that he was determined to get past first Stang so badly he kept it nailed a little tooooo long after the shift. He might also been thinking at the time he needed to keep out of the way of second Stang. My GT will at times of WOT wheel spin w/shift, takes what seems to be a while to tame back down if that makes any sense.

It's well documented that a full throttle gear change from 2nd to 3rd in a C7 Z06 is asking for trouble. They typically pull hard to the right on that shift, can't tell if that happened at first and he over corrected.

Corvette guy needs to get a 4WD pick up truck if he wants to keep jumping curbs.

C7 Z06's have a weird throttle hang when letting off the gas. It's horrible and I speculate that's what happened. I'm still trying to get used to it but there's all kinds of threads on the corvette forum about it.

Curious but does buying a Corvette entitle you to handicap sticker or do people usually already have them before buying? Or is it the first mod?

lol,, I’m fucking with you. I was looking at a C6 just last week. Wouldn’t mind getting a C6 for under 20k and modding it into a pro street build.
