I really enjoy my v6. I've had people give me crap about it not being a GT. That goes away when I crank it up with the Hooker catback. It really surprises them when they hear it. And it's plenty fast for a daily driver.

Why worry about what others think? I've only had one negative comment, from a gas station attendant. When I told him what engine it was, he said the V6 is no fun. I told him it made 300 HP stock and he changed his mind :)

Most people are stuck in the 90s, they think all V6s and fours make 150 HP.

Thanks for all the help guys, gonna start shopping again!
My final decision is gonna be :
1. white/silver depend on which one is on dealer's lot
2. no parking sensor
3. manual
4. Muffler delete first
Nice, those colors are sick...I actually don't see much white s550's around but they sure are head-turners. And glad you chose manual, you'll definitely have a better experience and you'll see why Manual can be addicting. Plus it'll make you a better driver. Do you have a car to learn manual on or are you planning to learn it in your Mustang?

Funny how he made that comment yet he didn’t even know the V6 had 300hp.

Lol “V6 no fun” yet he doesn’t even know Mustangs. Most negative comments come from people who don’t even have a Stang anyway.

True, the only real downside to getting the V6 is all the crap you hear from people who probably don't even own a Mustang.
Throw on some nice exhausts most people will not know the difference. Unless you are listening to V8's all day, it's hard to tell.

I learnt to drive in China and the only way you can learn to drive there is using a manual volkswagen jetta, although those vehicle had been tweaked so that they won't stall that easy. So i would say I can drive a manual with some getting used to.

A Hooker with a Blackheart makes a ruckus when cranked up? You say? Tell us more...
I don't have any videos yet. But, here's dasUB3RNOOB video of stock compared to the Hooker Blackheart Catback. Sounds really nice. Listen for yourself.

Oh, man! Too late to the party . I wanted to add my .02 since I went through the same deliberations a month or so ago.

I totally respect your choices, wise I think. When I'm asked about mine, I say it's a Cyclone engine, has "just" 300 hp :p and can go 0-60 in 5.5 sec. And that it is a hoot to pass cars on the freeway while I'm still on the onramp. It gets respect from most, not many years ago that was GT, Z28 territory.

White or Silver? Those were my choices, I ended up with Ingot Silver. As a couple of other posters suggested, it shows the lines of the car beautifully. One day I was out on my road bike and saw a silver S550 come down the hill. It rolled up to the stoplight, being downshifted ( as I know now) with the paddle shifters in sport mode. Lovely low growl, silver shimmered in the sun. But in a rainy climate the white may look fresher.

If you can get a test drive, try different combinations. I was lucky that the dealer I went to had over 60 Mustangs on the lot, all colors, models, and combinations. I test drove a white manual V6 051a 3.15, an auto EB in DI blue, and an Orange V6 auto. My driving is mostly city and after test driving the manual in lunchtime construction traffic and freeway, then the sport mode auto, well... :D

Anyway, happy shopping and good luck!

I would go with silver too. Just shows the lines better.

Silver looks great on the Mustang. One of the few cars that it looks good to me on. Not a bad choice. Let the haters hate on the V6. They're an annoyance. It's your car, not theirs.;)

Anyone that says their not fun cars have simply never driven one.
