The Factory order that i booked from the dealer got way too many interruptions and it seems that it had never been placed. The dealer just wanted me to get a ecoboost or GT ... So i changed to another dealer and gonna factory order now, but I still got a couple option to decide.

I have got a set of black wheels ready and will vinyl wrap the roofline and the rear view mirror as well, regardless of the color I choose. Gonna do a muffler delete anyways.

1. Ingot Silver or Oxford White (side by side pics would be preferred)
2. rear parking sensor or no rear parking sensor
3. manual or automatic (first vehicle in my life)
4. x-pipe or muffler delete only

All the helps are appreciated :) Thanks in advance

If you do not want a GT, for god's sake at least get a Ecoboost...

But..

White
Sensor
Manual
X pipe ... Muffler delete will sound like absolute sh*t.

What color do you like better? Do you back up into things often? Do you drive stick? How much extra noise are you looking for?

Get ingot silver, shows the lines of the car better and stays cleaner longer. I had reverse sensors on my EB and wished i had gotten them on my GT. First vehicle ever? probably go automatic. I prefer an x-pipe or H-pipe but get what ever you like that sounds good to you. Good luck!

No sensor ( you have a backup camera)
Auto (first car- don't want to learn a manual when you could screw it up)
No Xpipe or muffler delete. The V6 sounds waaaaay better than the EB
Get the 051A package - get the power seat and 18" foundry wheels- much better than the 17's

Not everyone wants an ecoboost 4 cylinder mustang.....

And muffler deletes sound great on the 15 V6.....

Now to the OP

 • White
 • No sensor (personally can't stand them damn things, rear view camera is good enough for me)
 • "first" vehicle and all I would suggest auto. Easier to drive through traffic and can still be manually shifted with the paddles when you want to.
 • I would suggest just the muffler delete. Muffler delete plus X pipe sounds a little raspy. Now an X pipe with a proper muffler would sound good.

If you are going to order it get the 3.55 gears. The 3.15 gears do not suit the V6 motor.

I personally like the Ingot Silver a bit more.
This is my first vehicle with any type of backup sensor/camera and so far there's no negatives to it so if you can afford it, go for it.
Ignore everyone saying auto, my first car ever was a 2007 v6 mustang w/ a 5 speed. Never drove stick before my dad picked me up in it one day after school. Learned on that car and think it's a great skill to know.
After hearing that video I think muffler delete sounds great, but haven't heard anything else really.

Another note of support for the V6 - completely biased as I own one and love it - and I've owned a S197 GT and drove an Ecoboost - the Cyclone V6 is a solid performer on regular gas and sounds great (didn't like the sound of the EB). To the questions --
 • Oxford white (again, biased)
 • no sensors - the standard camera is great with the grid lines and very good clarity (much better than some other manufacturers cameras)
 • totally your choice on transmission - I got the auto (my previous GT was stick) and like it - in Sport mode it shifts firm and fast
 • muffler delete sounds like a good (inexpensive) way to go
Also agree with Stam616 on 051A - I didn't get it and it would have been nice - though you're already going to swap wheels and even the standard seat adjusts for height. Good luck with your new ride!

"Resonated tips".... but as far as that video, that did sound pretty good.

And I am aware, as I obviously didn't want one either. That is why I bought a GT. LOL

Pure muffler delete

PS: the car in both videos is mine. This was before I went with LT headers.

Of those, get Ingot Silver and 3.55 rear axle. If your first car, I guess auto, though this is a very easy car to learn manual on. Exhaust is subjective, but the muffler delete w/ resonated tips that Zack did sounds quite good, IMO.
