Again you can’t change your gender.Um…
Nobody is arguing that a biological male can change their sex.
They are arguing that they can change their GENDER. I understand that you think the two are synonymous but clearly they aren’t, as demonstrated by the tribes I cited earlier.
Science doesn’t use your simplistic approach to determining sex. In fact, there are multiple ways to determine sex and sometimes people tick boxes in opposing columns because nature has a habit of producing a bit of variety and our ability to classify those expressions of variety are somewhat limited.
What sex is someone born with 4 sex chromosomes and ambiguous genitalia?
Which gender should they assume?
A true hermaphrodite will have components of borh male and female sex organs. Which box are you going to put them in? Are they make or female? Man or woman?
My personal opinion? I think it’s all a bit strange and I don’t pretend to fully understand it but my opinions don’t change basic biological facts.

Your experience in this area might be insightful.
A man can be gay or act effeminate just as a woman can be gay or act masculine. Just because you want to say you’re a woman by chopping off your penis doesn’t make you a woman and just because surgically you remove your breast and want to attach a latex member doesn’t make you a man. I don’t care how many ways you present it or slice it to me gender is assigned to sex. If there was a book by scientist presenting to you that I was your dad would you call me dad?
I won’t play that game with no one not even my own kids.
I guess I’m one of those homophobic guys because I won’t date or get married to a man who puts on a wig and make up saying he’s a woman. If you’re willing to do that then so be it. I won’t judge for it.
And those who are born with multiple genitalia that’s a genetic mutation that happens in only 1.7% of the worlds population.
