What are the additives in the VP 2 cycle engine fuel?

I suppose I could just add oil to turbo blue, might even be cheaper....
IMG_4039.png

VP 40:1 is close to Tru-Fuels formula.
Cheaper would be to wash 93 and add 3.2 oz per gallon of Non-detergent SAE30 oil. I’m partial to Klotz R50 or Maxima K2 or SuperM.
Klotz exhaust aroma is race fuel sweet.

Here in my area of Wisconsin, I can get 91 without ethanol, or 93 with ethanol.
Stock 2023 GT (5.0).
Is there a preference for either? I'm not taking it on the track, so if it is a HP difference, I doubt I would notice.
Thanks
93 with 10% ethanol.

91 octane E0 will give better gas mileage. It will depend on the price difference as to if it's worth it or not. With a 16 gallon tank every MPG is important if you are just commuting with the car.

If your vehicle achieves 20 MPG (miles per gallon) with 91 octane E0 fuel, then switching to 91 octane E10 fuel may result in a 3% decrease in mileage. So, your mileage would be approximately 19.4 MPG.

For 91 octane E0 (20 MPG):
Fuel consumption per 1,000 miles = 1,000 miles / 20 MPG = 50 gallons
For 91 octane E10 (19.4 MPG):
Fuel consumption per 1,000 miles = 1,000 miles / 19.4 MPG ≈ 51.55 gallons
Difference in fuel consumption = 51.55 gallons - 50 gallons = 1.55 gallons

Want me to PayPal you the cost of the extra 1.55 gallons ?

I tend to go alone with @engineermike. The freshness of the fuel is important. How fresh is the fuel? You don’t know. I look for stations that appear to be doing brisk business. I am also a Shell buyer. The only Shell station I have here in town is in a great location and appears to have a steady flow of clientele. They are not all buying 91 ( for all of you folks that are OCD about the amount of “ther grade that is in the hose ).
Next town over is busier. But, the cost of driving there and back, not to mention time, negates the benefit.

This is average, some stations might be 5%, others more than 10%, it ain't gonna be some stoopid milage loss. Been running around w/ E30 for a month. I don't even notice any loss, even though there is.

I used to get E0 93 and it was 3 in town and 5 MPG on the freeway, as long as I kept my foot out of it.

I'm nowhere near that, even at 30%.

I don't know about Canada but here in the States we have horseshit gas from the pumps. I'm lucky to get 23 or 24 degrees of timing on e10 93 in the summer. Winter gets us better fuel.

The E0 93 I used to get got me full advance

(quoted)
“Summer-blend gas has a lower RVP to prevent excessive evaporation when outside temperatures rise. Summer-blend gas contains 2 percent butane, but that percentage is higher in the winter blend.”

Isopentane = methylbutane
Note; the VP 40:1 packaged fuel is 6-12% Isopentane !
