Voodoo I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts and experiences about your ARH system with the forum. We can't thank you enough for choosing ARH and look forward to hearing about your performance results. I expect rock solid performance gains throughout the rpm range. Best of luck. Enjoy!

Nick!
That means a lot to me, all the hard work and support you and your staff had put into this exhaust system for the GT350. I'm VERY HAPPY with the sound, workmanship, quality and performance you put into each and everyone of your products! Thank you for allowing me to be apart of this. I truly am thankful for everything!
Scott.

I contacted Watson today. They are doing a lot of dyno time on their race cars for the upcoming season. Waiting to hear back when they can get me in.

Can't wait to see some numbers at the end of this...

EDIT: Also, it will be nice to see what the differences are compared to the Kooks. Specifically how the curve looks...

IIRC the Kooks were stepped, right? 1 3/4" to 1 7/8"...?

Correct. Kooks are stepped 1-3/4 to 1-7/8 with shorter primaries versus 1-7/8 and longer primaries for the ARH. The Kooks system has green cats too, so take that into consideration.

What are "green cats"? I have looked but can find no description.

Does that suggest they are more focused on emission compliance than high flow characteristics/performance?

Thanks for any explanation

They are 49 state emissions legal (California is the one, of course) with supposedly no flow loss versus other high flow cats.

Gents, we have a 49 State legal cat option as well. It adds to the overall cost but for those that have to have it, it's available. And yes they do flow the same as our standard 200 cell metallic cats.

Forgive me if it looked like I was trying to one up you. I was just saying that this ARH setup is catless while the Kooks set tested was catted.

Scott can go with or without cats, I believe he has what he needs to go either way. I am going to go with the ARH Catted setup to stock mufflers as soon as I see when my damn bonus will pay out.

Voodoo, is this you?? Idle sounds good, but an aftermarket exhaust or maybe resonators is def needed.

Yep that's my car.
Resonator and aftermarket mufflers? Your kidding right???
Why in the world would I put resonators on it? And why would I replace the factory active mufflers? It gives you the best of both worlds.
