Fuel system help!!!

In the market to make the move to e85 I was wondering what's my best bang for buck I have an 2015 mustang auto, whipple, long tubes, opg, bap, corsa extreme exhaust & the 132mm throttle body

Now my dilemma is rather to get a fore innovation level 2 set up with 2 ti auto pumps, fc3 controller the works or to just get a new fuel pump like a sai li system

When the system is on I plan on adding id1050x injectors, & colder spark plugs with my primary pulley being the 3.625 and my track pulley being the 3.5 which system is the one to go with fore or a sai li

Well if those are truly the pulleys you plan to run, you are going to be in the 775-825whp range once cranked and cracked out. That doesnt justify a full blown Fore system, but certainly is IMO one of the best and nicest setups.

Sai Li seems like a good setup for the price. Dont forget to checkout some other folks setups that combine just the Fore double or triple hat with their own lines and fittings, saves a few bucks, falls inbetween price wise. Like JPC.

I have for sure looked into jpc and that was one of my main concerns on if it was really necessary to have if it is I don't mind spending the money but if not of course I'd rather save that... but I will take your advice and look into jpc set up

To safely support that type of power on E85 I highly suggest running our 1400hp return style system. We worked closely with Kelly@BMR to piece the system together specifically for the 2015+ guys.

Since Whipple uses their own fuel rails on their kit we would delete the rails we typically include in the system and provide the proper fittings to adapt our lines to their rails. A few other great features of our system is that we use PTFE fuel hose standard so there won't be any fuel smell from weeping lines and we also offer a stainless washable fuel filter which works much better with E85 then the standard paper filters many use.

Wow that sounds amazing! I will have to look over that I like that fact that it supports a lot of power so in the case i have to build the motor I will already have the proper fuel system!

FYI I purchased just the Fore triple hat (triple 465's), FC3 controller, and their wiring kit from them for $1200. I then bought PTFE lined 10AN feed and 8AN return line (best of the best Fragola 6000 series), filter, regulator, and all fittings needed for an additional $1300.

Given Leathal's $2450 price for the same thing but with a little bit lesser quality relays and line, but PRE assembled, it is definitely a really good deal. I left in their cost for rails as I personally think the Whipple rails are subpar for having 6AN inlet/outlets, so you really need to purchase some new rails.

That said I like being able to customize my line routing and make sure the rails are as balanced as possible and also plumb in a way to drain the system (extra $75 of fittings and line).

While not a vendor, the kit on my car is 100% plug & play. Uses factory electrical connectors. No splicing of wires. No cutting up your fingers with braided steel. No messing with PTFE liners & fittings. And purposely built for a Whipple supercharger. So the fit & the finish is on the same level as the OEM fit & finish of the Whipple itself.

I know your kit and based on the size of the hardlines it would be a stretch to say it can support 900+WHP on e85, which at its price point is on par with kits that support 1200-1400hp. Just my humble opinion.

Allow me to correct this concern.

He has a 8AN stainless hardpipe, which is typical for well in excess of 900whp.

Forget the countless cars already making well over 1000 with a 8AN or even stock 3/8 pipes (6AN equivalent), the data to see why for yourself is easy:

Say your base fuel pressure is 43 psi, and your boost is 17psi. That's a total of 60psi pressure in the rails. The Walbro 450 flows 100.5gph at 60 psi. So between the 2 pumps it's 200GPH total if you reached the very max of the pumps, but you won't.

A 7' long 8AN at 200GPH will result 2.1psi of pressure drop. The regulator in his return system is after the rails, so rail pressure will hold steady regardless of the 2.1 psi pressure drop through the pipe... what happens in this scenario is pressure at the pump will be operating at 62 To make the 60 to the rails at 200GPH.

So as you should see now, 8AN is better than sufficient. Even a 6an would "only" drop 6psi at 200GPH. And if you wanted even more, say you needed 250GPH for your Whipple, you'd just use the triple 450 rather than the twin. 250GPH through a 8AN only drops 3psi in the lines (again, holds steady at the rails, this drop across plumbing is occurring in all fuel systems in all cars to varying degree and return systems will hold steady at the rails until you're out of pump). But back to the planet we live on, the supercharger used in this kit simply will not require 250GPH. But should someone decide to switch to turbos, just add that third pump and don't even sweat it.

A stretch? :doh: more like just getting started. charts attached below so you can plug in different boost levels and see how it adds up.
