Just added a sai li fuel kit to my car did initial logs and logs show during the pull fuel pressure would drop from 60-35 mid pull. We checked both pumps for voltage. Verified both pumps were working. Put a manual gauge on the fuel line and it showed during the pull it never dropped below 59psi. Any thoughts on what’s going on?

Is it tuned for the fuel system?

The only thing I can think is that some of the inferred information is incorrect because the data in the tune

So it’s tune side issue? Added fuel pressure to show what I see on my log.

Are the si kits still using the Holley regulator? If yes make sure you have the high pressure spring installed with the regulator. The reg should have come with 2 springs.

Where did you put the manual fuel gauge? Before the regulator or on the fuel rail? Also how did you verify both pumps were working? Did you check voltage to the pumps to verify? (Just because it has voltage doesn’t mean it’s actually pumping) Or did you unhook one pump at a time and monitor discharge? If you’ve ruled out everything mechanical. It has to be tune.

Gauge was right at the feed line into the rail. We tested voltage to both pumps and then unplugged one pump at a time using the relays and the car would stay running. Then unplugged both and the car died with in 2 seconds.

If it has full pressure and the gauge is showing a drop then there’s a tune problem. But verify 100% that you have full fuel pressure at the time that it is saying you don’t. Then tell your tuner

it may be a “volume “ issue versus pressure . At least that how it was explained to me.

Check your flitter as I had same drop with a clogged on line filter (with a Fore hat ) and similar also when I briefly used the GT 350 hat - the feed line on that hat is too small .

Dump this sai li system. I we have seen so many problems with it. It is a cheap kit and we all know what happens when you go cheap on FI setups. Fore Innovations makes the best for our 5.0s I have purchased 2 complete kits and frankly the best out there.
