Hello,

I know, you don’t buy a Mach1 for fuel economy, but…

Just want to know real life MPG in avg for a Mach 1. Also, I was looking at the manual and it says 87 Oct?

I’m looking for a base model, A10 information. I know that the extra aero of the HP decreases mpg, or so I think.

Any information, I’ll appreciate it. Thanks!

I drive with A95 petrol on my car. It burns about 20 per 100 km with enough pressure on the accelerator pedal. I did the test by loading up, I went 200 km and then I loaded up again.

I have 18.5 mpg average in 3100 miles, it's hard not to enjoy it on every occasion.

10,000 miles, no track. You will get 24 mpg on the interstate if you dont drive like a fool, and 12.8 mpg in the city. Average after 1 year, 16.8. I live in the suburbs, but it is still 12 traffic lights a mile. So the correct answer is...It depends on where you drive and how you drive it. And it is a manual.

They will run on 87 but Ford quotes their HP number on 93 octane I believe and have seen tests showing that while 87 is cheaper it also makes less power and gets worse mileage (maybe 1-2) because it has to pull so much timing so I run 91 (highest available in my area) in my GT. I average 22mpg in my 2019 GT A10 and 3.15 gears. I've gotten as low as 16mpg and as high as 28mpg

I can live with that. My EB avg is 22mpg for a yr. I drive mostly city around when I’m home, but going to work is all Highway, max speed 70mph. So I assume 23-24 in the highway is very posible.

I always use 93 on my EB for that reason. If I can find a Mach 1, I’ll probably will keep using 93

I've got an M1 with an A10. Over the first 3000 miles, I've averaged 22.5 MPG on 87 octane. Probably half of that is highway driving at 75-80 MPH. Where I live 93 octane run $0.70 to $1.00 more per gallon than 87 octane. I fail to see the cost savings if I would switch.

I'm averaging a solid 15.6 MPG on my Tremec, HP in 1600 miles. I might get 18-19 if I did more highway driving but it's a lot of shifting and city for me.

No harm intended, but I find your post rather funny having MACH 1 and fuel economy used in the same sentence.

See similar numbers to others here with AT running 93 all the time. Hey, at least it is better than the GT500. I have a friend with one of those...his license plate is 7mpg. Lol. Truth.

lol, after having a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a HEMI I don't believe anything built in the last 20 years can be possibly worse!

I just highly recommend that someone doesn't buy a Mach 1 for daily duties. You will get wrecked on MPG if that's a concern for you. The gearing especially on the Tremec I think makes it a bit worse. Probably why we all have the gas guzzler tax, lol.

Lol! I should’ve used Fuel Consumption, not economy.

Well, it will be my daily driving, also by choice. I can afford the gas prices. I just wanted to know the “real world” fue consumption just to keep it in my budget. I’m also looking for a A10, so my wife can use it if she needs to.

I drive about 5,000 miles a year in my EB. That’s why I’m not so concerned. My car has 20,000 miles in 4 yrs.

16 gal tank x 18 mpg avg = 288 miles. That’s very doable for me :)
