Now that we have a good bit of these new S550's on the road and accumulating mileage, I thought it would be a good idea to see if you all use and fuel additives.

I have used Lucas, Red Line and Royal Purple in the past. Just ordered me some RP fuel maximizer to put in my '15.

Do you all have any brands you use exclusively? I am curious to hear any feedback on the Amsoil fuel additives?

Or do some folks not believe in these and feel they are a waste of money?

I personally think they are a waste, but I've also never owned a high mileage car.

What are the benefits supposed to be?

I have never used a fuel additive in my life.

I have taken multiple Ford Vehicles past 300K miles.

And I have had many fast mustangs.

Not really sure why people use them?

Maybe I misunderstood.

Are you referring to Octane Boosters? If so, I have used Torco and Lucas, with success.....as it works well for safety margin.

Same here. It cleans up the fuel system for sure. When I bought my cobra, I had constant fuel pressure. After 2 back to back treatments, fuel pressure was back to normal and a completely different ride altogether.

Yeah, I don't think I would put any fuel additives in my cars.

My daily drivers see 30-40K miles yearly, and my "project" cars see <2000

I guess I have never had any fuel related issues, so I'll stick to the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" approach. It's worked well so far.

I used some seafoam in my Miata with 120k miles on it and did notice it started running smoother after about half a tank of gas, and I only have put Chevron 91 octane in it.
