My 2017 says that but the 2016 teck pkg. I had didn't say any thing. I know they added two speakers on the 2017's some where that the 2016's with teck pkg. didn't have. But sound to me is the same on my 2017 as the 2016 I traded. Used to be I think Shaker meant you had a sub (which I know we don't have, or is this possibly going to be added on the 2018's) Not that I really care since I can only hear good out of one ear. Just curious if they are trying to say by adding two speakers some where its now called a Shaker.

Shaker is from the flat plane crank vibrating everything! LOL

Seriously though you are correct it does not make sense since this car does not have a true sub like previous models with the shaker pro systems.

In the s197 they had the Shaker 500 (no sub) and the Shaker 1000 (sub in the trunk.)

In any case the word "Shaker" is an old indian word that Ford decided to use, it means "Shitty sound".

Ha ha agree with all of above comments but still would like to actually know why they wrote that on there if any one knows. I got a feeling its a tease and misinformation to us 2017 owners to a Shaker sub upgrade we'll see on the 2018's.
