I’ve been researching red/R calipers to replace my stock ones, prices average around $1300-$1500 for the set from what I’ve seen. Then I came across this:

https://www.cjponyparts.com/ford-pe...upgrade-kit-shelby-gt350-2015-2020/p/M2300AA/

Am I missing something? This seems like a great value for what you get! Even if I don’t need the pads/rotors now, I’d have them for when the time comes.
You don't want to just have yours painted? Everything else is exactly the same as far as I know....

You could use the same amount of money to objectively make the 350 a better car
Red calipers do not brake any better than black ones…..

The last time I looked into this, it was cheaper to buy those parts separately via (virtual) Ford parts counter, like Tasca or White Bear Lake.

EDIT: I just realized it comes with pads also. If that's not a misprint, then you're not missing anything and that's a pretty good deal. Just know it's going to come with the drilled rotors instead of the newer solid discs.

You can have a local powder coater make your calipers whatever color you want and rebuild all seals in the process for 1/4th that price.

You could buy the red ones, install them. Then take yours and have them powder coated and sell them off to recoupe some money.

I have the GT350R complete swap and I’m glad I made that decision. Car stops on a dime.

Thats interesting. Other than the color of the calipers, they are the same brakes, unless of course you bought the HEP R brakes. They are so much better.

What do you mean ?
The 350 and R have exactly the same braking system save for color
Do you have a 350 or a GT ?

I have a GT. So it was the only logical thing to do, upgrading to the GT350R package. I needed better brakes because my car makes over 1k rwhp. Should have been more clear, my apologies

Oh, that makes more sense. I thought you had a regular GT350 and went for the R calipers. Yes, they are better.
