It wasn’t bad. Even as close as Sainz was in the end from the field being bunched back up, Redbull and Verstappen had it covered today. Was great to see some of the other teams do better.

Hello; I expected the Ferrari (Sainz) to catch and pass the RB in the last 15 laps. My speculation for which I have little confidence is Ferrari backed off the engine performance a bit in order to be more reliable.

Alonzo has been among my favorite of the active drivers. He did well in the wet which is an equalizer in the sense a good driver can make a lesser car perform.

Any insight on the G-meters installed and how that may play out?

Hello; Yes it was too fast. The Ferrari got close a few times with the open wing but could not do much more. If memory serves the Ferrari had fresher tires by several laps.
I saw a lot of bouncing heads in the broadcast for what that is worth. Talk was it is the rough track this time.

I think now that they are on smoother tracks and not streets, porpoising should be less of and issue.

I was in Montreal for the race a few years back. It’s not bad at all for a street circuit, especially for one that see’s the harsh winters Montreal does. The F1 cars just have so very little suspension travel its kind of questionable to consider it suspension really. Maybe a magneride setup would help.

Antique track bumppyyyy...this is where the great cars are separated from the poor ones.

I have walked some of this track in person and it's third world I am suprised F1 even allows it....nostalgia lime Monaco I guess....

Magnussen needs to keep away from Hamilton. Every time KMag gets next to Hamilton, he ends up getting too close and damaging the Haas and ends up at the back of the field.

haha, whatever that nonsense is. You’ve stated your from Germany. European roads don’t go through temperature swings of 50+ degree’s in a day. 75+ degree swings in the SW aren’t uncommon. Temperature swings and environment wreak havoc on roads, but obviously you know that.

Ok suppose for N. America the it's OK since out roads are generally third world haha.

Lower profile tire certainly don't help.

Out of respect for Zhou Guanyu. At the time we didn’t know how serious the accident was or whether he was seriously injured. Thank God he was just fine.

That's what the presenter said, too, but why should a replay be deemed disrespectful?
It was a public event, which happened in front of thousands of people, armed with mobile phones, and which was bound to be on YouTube in a matter of minutes (it actually was). It's not as if the replay would have divulged something private or shameful about him. Sooner or later we were going to see it anyway.

At the time we didn’t know how serious the accident was or whether he was seriously injured.

True, we didn't, but how was this information supposed to influence the decision? I mean, when they found out that Guanyu was all right they showed us the crash. OK, fine. But what if he hadn't been all right? Would they then have not shown any replays at all? I'm sure they would have. So why delay it, then?
