Guys, I just hit about 7200 miles on my '19 GT.. so it was time for the first service. My oil life meter was less than 5% oil life. Went to Ford's quicklane as I don't have a garage (yet!) to change the oil myself. I sticked with the standard semi synthetic ford blend SAE5W-20 grade oil.
I know it takes 10 quarts. The receipt shows 6 quarts, but the service manager assured me they put in 10 (I had asked them a dozen times to be sure..) I watched them do the whole process from the bay window but there's no real way of confirming they put in 10 quarts. The dipstick level also shows that oil is roughly halfway between the recommended hash marks.
I had the service manager write down 10 qt on the receipt for my records. The Stang runs smoother after the oil change, and the oil color is amber, which is good.
Should I be concerned with the 6 quarts printed with the receipt ? or am I just being too picky... Thanks for any comments !!
