Thought I would post this here as 2 out of three changes fall in this section.
Here is picture new.
First upgrade strut. American Muscle
I got a set of EBPP/GT brakes from Shelby.
Conti DW summer tires. Tire Rack
Steeda stainless brake lines. LMR
FR Track Pack Levittown Ford
Final results...
My impression so far for the upgrades are extremely positive. It has lost that floating feeling. I think it looks good lowered. Ride is a little harder, but I found that when I reduced the tire pressure from 35 PSI to 32 PSI the ride improved dramatically. Now it almost the same as pre-mod comfort wise and much better handling. MPG I have a measured improvement of about .9 MPG not exactly sure if it is due to lowering the car or some other difference(weather or tires??) Tires are sticky, first thing I noticed was picking up crap on the road. One thing that sucks is going over NJ Transit railroad tracks...some sort of rubber material on the crossing the car doesn't like it at all .... guess is the sway bars or springs not really sure. Other RR tracks not so bad. This weekend is track day so will update after.:ford:
