This is the method i use. It is a clean and simple way to drain any and all that nasty blow by.
Soaking or cleaning the screen occasionally will remove deposits and ensure good air flow. Gasoline would be another good solvent choice. Let it thoroughly air-dry afterwards. Was just browsing after servicing mine on my GT350R this weekend. I looked at the documentation again and it says to service the mesh with a solvent. I called the techline and they suggested mineral spirits. Has anyone ever cleaned the mesh, for some reason that thought never really cross my mind. Have about 20k on the car with the seperator installed. Spoke to another friend with a GT350R with 60k and he also has never cleaned the wire mesh.
Wonder what others have done.
Actualy saw a guy clean a UPR can and setup with dish detergent. Thats honestly probably the best and safest way. Good ole dawn and then properly dry.Soaking or cleaning the screen occasionally will remove deposits and ensure good air flow. Gasoline would be another good solvent choice.
