Let's keep it civil please.

For the track and for the street are two different scenarios. You made a statement that was false. I’m here to educate people on what is really going on in the industry as whole, OEM and the aftermarket because there is a lot of BS out there. It’s funny you think I’m a dick, most people on this board that know me will tell you I’m one of the most helpful and easiest guys to get along with here, but when I see misinformation being spread Im going to speak up because too many people hear that and take it as gospel. As to the current conversation the Bullitt, if it’s released will not have FP/Borla exhaust for many different reasons.
While the production Bullitt may indeed sport a black tip it won't be the any of the Borla hardware shown at PRI.That Black tipped catback makes me wonder if that is what is on the new Bullitt based on images.
Borla does supply certain components that end up on production Ford vehicles. As mentioned, Federal noise regulations at play preclude use of most of what you see for sale in the performance exhaust aftermarket.Since when? I know its not as loud as a v8 but my Escort even came with a Borla Axleback from teh factory.
He was referencing the system you brought up when you "wondered" if it was what would be on the new Bullitt. The are a slew of standards, both governmental and internal Ford that any of these systems would have to meet or surpass. They are undoubtedly unacceptable for those reasons, hence his comment. That is not to say that Borla isn't capable of producing an OE level system to meet current standards. As to THE CURRENT conversation, the question was "since when" and your statement conflicts. It doesn't prevent "borla" exhausts as you said, it prevents loud exhaust.
You love to argue things that are NOT the point.
I've been wondering if this was the case - if true this is very interesting. I just picked up my '17 in November and plan on upgrading the exhaust in the spring. If the '18 rear fascia/valance will swap, then that'll give me more options. I really like the look of the quad exhaust on the '18s ;)Verified the 2018 rear fascia will fit 15-17 cars.
