A buddy and I were just talking about that, the winter months are approaching and we bet the fix will come out then too...

Any fix would be great though, and the. At least it will be ready for the next summer months
Awesome, would love to hear back about this so i can schedule my recall accordingly..

Ford did the same thing a few years back on the 6.7 Powerstroke.
the motor was released with 390hp/735tq and a "free" reflash bumped power to 400hp/800tq.... (just happened to coincide with brand x's new truck...lol)

Wow, I feel lucky to have my seats working properly. Sorry for you guys that are having this problem. The seats can get pretty cool too. Now the factory reflash will be great, warranty and all.

They need to upgrade the turbo as opposed to the tune. People complain about it falling on its face in the upper RPMs not low end grunt. Ah well - one can dream.

Bigger turbo equals lag at low rpm. Give me the flash.

Id take the lag below 3k for better HP up top, nothing is more of a letdown then having a sports car drive like a diesel imo.
Really? I love the TQ down low. Great for daily driving the beast. My car doesn't see more that 80-90mph often, and it gets there with no trouble.

Went to the Ford dealer today to have the company Escape serviced. I spoke to the service adviser who handled the company car and asked him about the up coming flash and he said he didn't know anything about it but if and when Ford does they will send you something in the mail about the re-flash.

Me too. It's a DD for me too and love the low end torque. I don't typically run it in the upper rpm band. I've driven older turbos from th past that are pretty anemic down low then BANG! on the boost. My preference is this setup.

But it is a typical complaint of these modern turbo motors that use smaller turbines. Had a 12 Mazdaspeed3 and among the hardcore, a typical upgrade was a bigger turbo.

Thats a huge jump. Is that for the current 6.7?

Amen. The EB I test drove got into positive manifold pressure w/ the slightest throttle modulation maintaining 60 mph. The car would get better mpgs and potentially make more power in the rev range it's actually needed w/o so much response.

Trying to make a 4 cylinder have big torque right off idle is a poor attempt to make it feel like a larger displacement engine. Smart for Ford, bc Americans like their torque...bad for us, bc we care about horsepower...

Hopefully the information I received is correct, time will tell this month.
