Ford updates 2017 EB with intercooler?

The new Fusion Sport should be a monster, if looking at the motor in the F-series trucks is of any indication of performance.

I don't think the 2.7EB in the Fusion Sport is the Gen 2 EB, like found in the new Ford GT and Raptor. I'm sure it will trickle down over time, but I'd say that'll be a few more years down the road.

I was reading about this engine the other day. Totally new generation design. Block upper section has compacted graphite iron cylinders with aluminum lower. The early F150 tune only options are looking pretty good, imagine adding hardware once the aftermarket starts maturing.
