Ford email - 60 year LE

Ford seems to hate all the colors I like. Whenever there’s a cool color, it only sticks around for a year or two while we get the same race red for ten years.

Colors that if they returned could persuade me to buy an S650:
Gotta have it green
Lightning blue
Royal Crimson
Competition Orange
Vista Blue
Mischievous Purple

I like your list. I would probably sub out Vista Blue and throw in Triple Yellow or Grabber Yellow. Love me some yellow. Royal Crimson is such a cool color but I’d be surprised if we ever see it again unfortunately

I have one on order. On my 2013 LE, it was my daily driver and I did minimal modifications, but I went all out on my 2019 because I love tinkering. Unfortunately, my 2019 is not getting the driving time I want. The PP and body mods I made are great for car shows, but a problem on the highway. Semis, critters, and road issues, have caused the need for numerous repairs. At first, I was upset that I could not get the PP on the 60th, but it increases my willingness to take it places. Not a great fan of the limited colors. Race Red is too common, Ruby Red our similar would be nicer. WW is a nice color, but $1000 for white?!!! Vapor Blue is nice, but...... The wheels are pathetic and why go with 20" when 19" is the norm? While I may disagree with the reasoning, I have realized that the LE models offered are deliberately designed with the idea of not racing them. That may mean that the secret offering will offer the 60th badges, but not be one of the numbered models. On the 50th models, they offered a 50th package that did that. They may also offer it with a hybrid drive or some type of performance setup. Time will tell.

Wait....Wimbledon White is special? Special to the point that you cannot get that color without the $4990 LE option? I had a Wimbledon White '68 Torino GT. It was special to me, but trust me...that color wasn't that special, y'all.

Anyone intending to get lots of use with Mustang needs to wrap entire car, incl headlights and matt PPF on black lower trip, in PPF as first mod and put rock/ splatter flaps on. Even in the best environments the road dust and debris is brutal even on PPF, and in worst like winter driving it's a saviour.

Had a 70 something fellow comment today how my car looks new after 35K hard miles all seasons, all conditions.

Having some late night drop, one thing that’s previewing is a manual-transmission V-8 convertible, akin to dark horse but not the same badging. Tomorrow / Later today will be good for the brand.

So for a modest upcharge you can have red 5.0 badges, side stripes that say 60 years, those wheels with a red center cap, silver grille nostrils, and silver painted mirror caps to imitate chrome but only if you get a red or blue car. They'll also stick a numbered plaque on the dash for you and you get to say your car is one of only 1,965 produced.

Starting at just $57k+ for a GT premium with only options selected being the anniversary pack and the white color.

I didn't see it mentioned here...but it looks like all those anniversary cars will be built the same...except for color. All are automatics. That alone puts it into the "no" category for me...
