I like them better than most of the other options. Been on the phone a couple times with my sales guy this morning about a WW 60th. Not sure if I’m going to pull the trigger on it but he has basically confirmed the info that someone else posted about the options being preset. I do like the options they’ve chosen for the LE cars…

Well, the marketing department did the job to “make us look.” I’m guessing we all expected something more than a chance to pay for a blue paint job. Meh.

I owned a 1990 Fox 5.0 notchback a few years ago. The reason I bought it was the original exterior color:
Crystal Blue Metallic Clearcoat

Which looks very similar to the 60th “Brittany Blue”.

The color on my 90 looked awesome under direct sunlight and when the sun was going down, the color looked totally different. It was also a rare color too, hardly ever see that color (even in 1990) and it always got compliments

That is kinda the point, isn’t it.

No. In modern product design, if it isn’t useable, pleasing and intuitive the product will fail with real world human beings. Doesn’t matter what your marketing department or sales teams think they know. Real people won’t buy it. They may buy it for the new and cool factor but they won’t keep it for long if the “fit” isn’t right.

Except human factors hasn't changed in 8000 years. The rules of visual identification, of tactile feedback, of minimum finger dexterity and grabbing size and so forth haven't changed. Just because the you'ts are stupid and don't know facts doesn't mean you abandon the hard science of biology.
