With a good driver, a 2018+ Mustang GT A10 does the full 1/4 mile in about the same time as it takes for the 1974 Mustang II "Mach 1" to even get to 60.

These articles make me laugh. You can’t compare the A10 of today to even the best manue back then with their best driver. It depends on the driver and these days the driver just needs to slam the pedal in an automatic.
