After you've received the car and driven it (and deemed its handling is not upto snuff for the purposes you value) - it seems Ford *may* have some updates available for handling via their FRPP catalog. The nice thing is those will be OEM tuned so I would imagine there is qualitative and quantifiable analysis to back up the efficacy (as opposed to just stiffening/lowering the car willy nilly - trust me I've been there and often the car ends up being a poor street car and a poor track car!). I know Roush tests their kits extensively with data loggers and I'm keenly awaiting their product as well (their handling kits and exhuast, def NOT their aero kits :-))
Of course, the best way to banish the lap difference with the 1LE is simply to put better and wider tires the front and back (particularly the front - At the cost of more tramlining and higher cost in general, additionally stickier meats will exacerbate the lean/softness of the suspension unless its tuned). The dampers/shocks upgrade should of course improve the driving experience on a track/road course (and some lap time).

WTF is the side exhaust??? Is Ford offering something like they are doing on the Boss??? Also, super keen on the power upgrade pack - assuming this is a tune? I wonder how much area under the curve it will unleash - dont care about peak numbers as much as I would gladly trade a lot of the rarely used high rpm (8200 rpm) peakiness in my current 500HP 5.0L V10 for a more torquey experience for daily driving in the 435+HP (stock) 5.0L V8 Mustang (why a screamer FPC GT350 is not as appealing to me for DD *ducks*)
