  1. If you're a manual lover, would you buy 2020 with no manual?

It would be great if they offered both, and I love driving a manual, but at this power level it would be an exercise in futility to launch this beast with a manual. The last generation GT500 was manual only and the first thing that comes to mind about this car is how embarrassing it was to...
  2. So excited about the Performance Pack Level 2

I'd take a T2R over an eLSD every single day of the week. And so would anyone wishing for optimum performance on a road course. So you might leave that one out of the list of things the PP2 doesn't have. Because it has something way better.
  3. 2018 Mustang Build & Price on July 25 [UPDATE: Now Live!]

For me as least. I want quiet stockish exhaust note for the majority of my drive time. I have aftermarket on my 2015 GTPP and it gets on my nerves sometimes during my commute. So the active exhause will allow me to have quiet most of the time and when I want to have a little fun and wake the...
  4. 2018 Mustang Build & Price on July 25 [UPDATE: Now Live!]

I would hope Ford's IT department has a standard deployment practice that is mostly automated. Deployment scripts and the like. Probably uses .war files to deploy and all database changes and image hosting could be set up well before go live. So in one since sure it's difficult, but once in...
  5. Clarifying wheel sizes

Curious as to what wheels you're running and if they are custom or off the self? Also, pics? if I'm not mistaken you probably have a little tuck which is exactly what I'd like to have. I'm not a fan of the flush and poke is a huge no go for me.
  6. Clarifying wheel sizes

I'm sure some of the vendors will tell you to call and they can set you up. But I'll give you what I think I've been able to derive from all the threads. Up front 19X10 with 35mm offset and 285/30/19or20 Out Back: 19X11 with 50mm offset and 305/30/19or20 I myself prefer a little tuck, so...
  7. Performance Pack Tires... done in under 6,700 miles...WTF?

I don't know if it has been mentioned. But the Performance Pack does have a torsion diff, and it will chew tires more in turns faster than the limited slip clutch style diff. So it is no surprise the rears are going in a hurry, even if you aren't doing burnouts from hell :).
  8. How to fit 305's upfront?

I ran -3 on my S197 for over a year and never had tire wear issues. Toe is what kills tires. I also liked to take my turns pretty quick, since I had a the suspension and tires to do it. Don't know if that help or hurt save them.
  9. Name your Mustang?

Mine 2015 White GTPP "Thor" Wife's 2016 White GT "Rumble" Daughter's 2015 Black EB "Athena"
  10. PMAS install issues

The MAF sensor is the 2011 to 2014 version. If that makes a difference. They originally sent the wrong kit and then had to send the 2015 version. They didn't include the maf sensor in the 2015 kit they sent , so I used the one from the 2011-2014 kit. I guess that could be the issue. I have...
  11. PMAS install issues

To add insult to injury, my ac stopped working right after the install also. I uninstalled and reinstalled it several times, looking for knocked loose wiring or anything else that could explain it. I did teflon tape the screwed in tubes to the main tube, because the larger one was a bit loose...
  12. PMAS install issues

Anybody else have cold start issues after installing this. My car cranks forever and then revs to 1800 or so and holds it there for a while, it gradually comes down and once warm it idles normally. But the cold start up is worrying me. I have the no-tune version.
  13. Who is planning to order? Check in here

Don't know if it will help, but you might try Corey White at Five Star Ford in Plano, TX he is the SVT/Mustang specialist there and sells allot of them. Maybe he can help you out.
  14. Suspension Installation Shop

Vorshlag in Plano. They are a suspension shop first and foremost. Nothing bad about these other shops mentioned, but they are all hot rod shops first that do suspension also. Vorshlag is a road race/ autocross shop and know their suspension. Terry is a great guy also.
  15. Sock's Project 6G

snooze you loose I guess, promo code no longer valid. And I ain't paying no $550 for two days, even though it looked like a ton of fun.
  16. Coilovers available?

I'm guessing your a hard parker that is more interested in the look of putting it in the weeds than performance. Cheap ass, crappy BC is probably your game then.
  17. Autocross: Thoughts on Class to Run In

STU is a waste because we are too heavy and the tire allowance is too small for us to compete with the boost buggies. I bailed on STU last year and played in MAM. It was fun, almost all newer mustangs and camaros so easy to compare against Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. Getting a GT350 at MSRP

blame the dealers lobbiest and the money they contribute to political campaigns for that. without that the government would give two shits.
  19. Drone

To add to that, I've never in over 30 yrs of messing with cars heard a drone in anything other that a chambered muffler. If you aren't running a chambered muffler, you don't have drone. Simple as that.
  20. Drone

I agree, most people complaining of drone have no idea what real drone is. Take a ride in a Fox body mustang with 2-chamber flowmasters, lol. You will get a quick lesson in what drone really means. <--- drove Fox body with 2 chambers for 2 years. My head still hasn't recovered. 2000rpm...
