After you've received the car and driven it (and deemed its handling is not upto snuff for the purposes you value) - it seems Ford *may* have some updates available for handling via their FRPP catalog. The nice thing is those will be OEM tuned so I would imagine there is qualitative and quantifiable analysis to back up the efficacy (as opposed to just stiffening/lowering the car willy nilly - trust me I've been there and often the car ends up being a poor street car and a poor track car!). I know Roush tests their kits extensively with data loggers and I'm keenly awaiting their product as well (their handling kits and exhuast, def NOT their aero kits :-))
Of course, the best way to banish the lap difference with the 1LE is simply to put better and wider tires the front and back (particularly the front - At the cost of more tramlining and higher cost in general, additionally stickier meats will exacerbate the lean/softness of the suspension unless its tuned). The dampers/shocks upgrade should of course improve the driving experience on a track/road course (and some lap time).

Credit to Tim for posting. I am not sure what these include at this point, but keen to find out more.

WTF is the side exhaust??? Is Ford offering something like they are doing on the Boss??? Also, super keen on the power upgrade pack - assuming this is a tune? I wonder how much area under the curve it will unleash - dont care about peak numbers as much as I would gladly trade a lot of the rarely used high rpm (8200 rpm) peakiness in my current 500HP 5.0L V10 for a more torquey experience for daily driving in the 435+HP (stock) 5.0L V8 Mustang (why a screamer FPC GT350 is not as appealing to me for DD *ducks*)

Gonna need LOTS of details on these. Would be very curious to see how a side exhaust looks on these beasts, and how they'd fix the openings in the rear valance to accommodate this.

If Ford racing parts suspension upgrades for the 2015 are anything like the ones for the S197 they will be a whole order of magnitude lower than what I'd require for performance handling. For the S197 their strut/shock upgrade was Tokico D's with their branding. Better than stock I guess, but about the least desirable option of all the after market strut/shock upgrades that are available for the platform. So, I'd definitely be looking elsewhere for suspension upgrades.

Who wants to bet the side exhaust is the one from the FRPP .99 drag video?

I cant believe they are actually doing a side exhaust - more props to them. It's strange how this has slipped under the radar of the vocal 6g community. This is a huge deal as far as exhausts are concerned, SIDE PIPES!!!!!

V6, where the V6? Ford Racing just ignored the v6 in that video.

Because they don't want you to buy the V6

I didnt know the Tokico's were considered entry level (I havent been in the Stang scene). Is the Koni Yellow the best choice for track/autoX but mostly daily? What springs do you recommend?

Short of good coil-overs, yes. They should work fine with springs having rates anywhere from OE to the firmer "lowering springs". I am not sure how well they'd work with the kind of springs that only slam the car way down low for appearance shock value.

Koni yellows are a popular strut/shock for some. Definitely better than tokico. But I'm a little more hardcore. Anything less than $2500 for a set of coil overs and your still in mid level parts. AST's, MCS's, etc. I'm running blisteins instead of koni's because they are monotube. But they are temporary until funds become available for a set of MCS coil overs.
